Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These terms govern your use of Lia (the service at liaos.space and related channels such as WhatsApp). By using Lia, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Not medical advice

Lia is a software companion for general wellness and education around PCOS-related topics. It is not a doctor, clinic, or emergency service. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Always seek a qualified clinician for medical decisions, new symptoms, medication changes, or emergencies.

Eligibility and account

You must provide accurate information where requested and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, risk to others, or violations of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Lia, including by: attempting to access others’ data; probing or disrupting our systems; sending unlawful, harassing, or harmful content; or using the service to build competing scrapers or datasets without permission.

Content you send

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We may modify, limit, or discontinue features. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where allowed by law.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lia’s operators and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred currency units of your jurisdiction, if you paid nothing.

Third-party services

Lia relies on infrastructure and messaging providers (including Meta for WhatsApp). Their terms may also apply to your use of those channels.

Governing law

Unless a mandatory law in your country says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operating entity behind Lia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue where permitted.
